The Marco Polo Centre for Global Europe-Asia Connections (MaP) at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice invites applications for a funded Visiting Scholar position with Publication Grant. The position is open to early-career and established scholars working on Asia-Europe connections, including history, literature, art history and archaeology, religion, linguistics, anthropology, and area studies. The selected scholar will spend at least 45 consecutive days at MaP before July 2027 and work on an advanced manuscript intended for publication in the Marco Polo Book Series OA Gold. The grant provides up to €10,000, including support for travel, subsistence, and publication expenses. Applications are due by 5 June 2026, 12:00 noon.
