Peking University's School of Archaeology and Museology is delighted to announce that they are offering four (4) tenure track positions in their department. Peking University was the first to establish an archaeology teaching and research institution among all the universities in China. The School of Archaeology and Museology now includes the Department of Archaeology and the Department of Cultural Heritage, National Archaeological Experimental Teaching Center, National Virtual Simulation Experiment Center of Archaeology, and the Arthur. M. Sackler Museum of Art and Archaeology at Peking University.

The School consists of five undergraduate programs, which are Archaeology, Museum Studies, Conservation, Heritage Architecture, and Foreign Language and Foreign History (Archaeology). The Undergraduate Program of Archaeology was certificated as the National First-class Undergraduate Program in 2019 by Education Ministry of China. The School of Archaeology and Museology has a First-grade Discipline Doctoral Degree Conferring Unit in Archaeology and a Postdoctoral Research Center in Archaeology. It provides academic degrees in two categories: BA/Ph.D Degrees in Archaeology, and BA/MA Postgraduate Degrees in Museum Studies.

All applications are due before April 30th or before the second round of applications on Sept 1st.
