We are currently recruiting for the post of Assistant Curator in the East Asia Section of the Asian Department on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be educated up to at least degree level (or possess an equivalent experience) with substantive experience of work within a museum or other relevant cultural organisation. Excellent grammatical English and computer skills are essential and competency in an East Asian language is desirable. We would welcome candidates with a demonstrable knowledge and interest in the art and design of East Asia with knowledge of a particular area of the collections and an interest in the collecting and display of Asian art objects during the nineteenth century.
