Save Ancient Studies Alliance (SASA) and Digital Hammurabi will be hosting a free public virtual conference on August 15 and 16, 2021. The conference is titled “Opening the Ancient World: Religion, History, and Culture” and focuses on the Ancient Mediterranean and Near East. It features nineteen scholars and researchers from all over the world, who conduct their research outside of the Academic world, yet persevere in their excellent research. Additionally, on each day the conference will host a Roundtable discussion, intended as forums for those who are interested in proactively developing real solutions to current problems in Ancient Studies. More information about the conference can be found on the conference's webpage.
