Silk Road Archaeology Workshop
This workshop provides an opportunity for researchers to enjoy the exciting exhibition on how the journey of people, objects and ideas through the Silk Roads shaped cultures and histories across the world, and to present their own works on any new insights or discoveries relating to Silk Roads Archaeology. We look forward to receiving proposals for paper presentations. Examples of possible topics include, but are not limited to:
- Archaeological scientific approaches to Silk Roads related topics
- Theoretical themes pertaining to the Silk Roads, such as exploring movement or exchange
- Papers that focus on a particular site, region, or culture where technologies, artistic styles, or belief systems were under the impact of networks formed through the Silk Roads
The length of individual talks will be approximately 10-15 minutes, although the specifics will ultimately depend on the final number of proposed talks. The workshop language is English.
